Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 March 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Stackd website and service operated at stackd.community by Stackd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using Stackd you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Description of Service

Stackd is a community platform for LEGO enthusiasts to catalogue their set collections, submit ratings and written reviews, follow other collectors, and discover popular sets. The service is provided free of charge to registered users. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

2. User Accounts

To access most features you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
  • Choose a username that does not impersonate another person or entity and does not contain offensive or misleading content.
  • Keep your password secure and not share access to your account with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at hello@stackd.community if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User-Generated Content

Stackd allows you to submit ratings, written reviews, and profile information (collectively “Content”). By submitting Content you:

  • Confirm that you own the Content or have the right to submit it, and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • Grant Stackd a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, store, and distribute your Content as part of operating the service.
  • Understand that ratings and written reviews you submit will be publicly visible to other users of the platform.

We do not endorse any user-submitted Content and are not responsible for its accuracy. You may delete your own Content at any time via the edit and delete controls on your logs.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post Content that is false, defamatory, harassing, abusive, obscene, or illegal.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users’ accounts or to any system or network used by Stackd.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect data from Stackd without our prior written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service or its underlying infrastructure.
  • Use the service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent, including reselling access or scraping data for competing services.

5. Amazon Affiliate Disclosure

Stackd participates in the Amazon Associates programme. Set detail pages include affiliate links to Amazon. When you click such a link and make a qualifying purchase on Amazon, Stackd earns a small commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are provided purely as a convenience; we do not guarantee pricing, availability, or accuracy of listings on Amazon. Amazon is a separate company and any transaction you make there is subject to Amazon’s own terms and conditions.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Stackd platform — including its design, code, logo, and brand — is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced or used without our permission. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorise, or endorse Stackd. Set names, images, and metadata are used under the terms of the Rebrickable API and remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Stackd is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Community ratings and reviews reflect individual user opinions and are not verified by us.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Stackd and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the service — including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed £50 (fifty pounds sterling).

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users (for example by displaying a notice on the site). Continued use of Stackd after revised Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Stackd shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Contact
